One can’t help but be impressed when reading through the mission statement of Fluhme and the Fluhme Foundation. To quote the Fluhme website:
“Both Dr. Derrick and Tiffany Fluhme are passionate about giving back to society. They are committed to making a positive difference in the lives of seriously ill pediatric patients and their families.”
In 2009, they set up a foundation to benefit children with life-threatening illnesses. As a father of two young girls, I find this commendable. If only more companies had this type of mission!
As a beauty and cosmetic company operating under a network marketing model, Fluhme Beauty Artists set out to enrich the lives of others through a line of high quality skin care products. In the process, building a home based business that can supplement or potentially replace and surpass their current income sources. Unfortunately, as with any network marketing opportunity, it is common for sales reps to get involved primarily due to their love and zeal for the product line and without much experience in marketing and sales. The result, all too often, is less of a business and more of a hobby, usually leading to very little income or profit.
There is a simple way for Fluhme Beauty Artists to learn these skills, and the good news is that it can usually be done online, making it the perfect vehicle for stay-at-home moms to use for building their Fluhme business. It is a simple concept known as Attraction Marketing. Attraction Marketing is the process of adding value to someone’s business by helping them to solve a problem or issue that they may have. Doing this free of charge will draw people to you and make them want what you have.
Now, if you are a Fluhme Beauty Artist, you need to step back and take a look at your overall business goals. Where are you now in your business and where do you want to be? If you simply want to market and sell the Fluhme product line, then you can probably add value by doing demonstrations and allowing people to try your product. However, for those of you who seriously want to build a Fluhme business and create financial security for yourself and your family, then building your business with this method rarely leads to financial independence. Instead, your method of adding value has to be adding value to someone else’s business. You want to find business builders, right? Then you have to have a method of building in a way that shows others added value- a method that sets you apart from the rest, and a method that is attractive to those that see it.
If it sounds complicated, then it’s usually a matter of “you don’t know what you don’t know”. Obviously, if you have never built a business in this manner, then you will need to learn. Most likely, you’ll need to learn from someone other than your upline because if they already knew this strategy, they would be teaching it to you already. Think of it this way… if you could show someone a step-by-step, proven system for building their network marketing business, a system that was a bit more in-depth than simply telling them to make a list of everyone they know or handing out brochures/tapes/DVD’s, then you not only would be adding value to their lives, but you would be doing something that 99% of network marketers can NOT do. My guess is that you probably do not have such a system in place and perhaps you do not even know of one. But if you take the time to learn and grow and develop your skills as a marketer, the information is available and ready for you to follow. Once you learn the principles of Attraction Marketing it will set you apart from the pack and instantly make you a leader… and everyone loves to follow the leader.
